"E-books are selling better than ever," says the prolific author of more than 200 books, who has self-published a few of his own online.

"Especially during the pandemic. In fact, they're thriving," says Odom, who teaches professional writing on the Norman campus.

"Readers don't want the 'pandemic' on their book. People don't want to go into a physical store and handle a book that someone else has handled, whether new or used," he said.
